Located in Mae Nam on Koh Samui, Escape Beach Resort boasts a beachfront location and has an outdoor pool the overlooks the sea and complimentary WiFi access in all area.

Offering a choice of bungalows to cosy guestrooms in the main building, all rooms are air-conditioned and comes with views of the sea or garden. The private bathroom is fitted with a hand/rain shower and complimentary toiletries. Other amenities include a flat-screen TV, a fridge and a safety deposit box.

High potential but can do with a bit more sprucing up

The rooms have been refreshed so they look nicer.. The location was amazing as it was quiet and away from the hustle right in front of the sea. The pool and the view were amazing and i can't get over it. People who had taken the beach view cottage would have had the best time!

The rooms could have been cleaner, the towels look old, the bathroom water wasn't draining well and the bottles used for the toiletries felt really old. There was lizard poop on our day bed when we came in. The cleaning team didn't replace our tea cups and tea bags at times. The rooms are also weirdly placed. One looks into the back of the other where the bathroom window is. Also, some of the front desk staff seemed quite unfriendly and stern.

What was the highlight of Escape Beach Resort

My stay was disappointing due to renovation disruptions and a lack of hospitality.

The room was good.

The hotel was undergoing renovations, which resulted in the pool being out of service and the premises being unkempt. Additionally, the staff was unable to assist with renting a motorbike. Although I have stayed at this hotel several times, this time the hospitality was lacking.

Good price value in a beautiful spot of Koh Samui

The pool area and the fact that you can jump straight in the sea and enjoy the sunset on the hill. The location is very quiet (note that it’s good to rent a scooter, the hotel provides rental and it’s very efficient). Mae Nam was our favourite area on the island. Friendly staff ️

We were a bit disappointed that the bungalows were very close to each other in a row. You have a little terrace but it faces the bungalow just in front… but overall it’s a very good price value and if you want a view, they have a few bungalows facing the sea.

We will be back again for the third time…

We love the fact it is hidden away, really peaceful and still close to the action. The bungalows have been renovated and are modern and really comfortable and the staff are friendly and really efficient.

The renovations were still going so there was some construction noise but that is temporary and we saw the end products so it will be lovely once it has all finished.

Once reconstruction is over, it will be again wonderful place to stay. Possible to rent sctooter directly at the accomon

We were directly next to sea, all clean. Calm, not directly in the city. Appreciate that it very close to the city, market places, restaurants etc.

Accomondation was under reconstruction, we were informed only about pool reconstructon, however whole place was under huge reconstruction. There was not any canteen, we had to eat breakfast in the room.

Good for one or two nights stay

The rooms were nice and clean, and we enjoyed a sea view from our room. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and was quite good. Both the restaurant and bar were excellent; we had lunch and dinner there, and everything was served with a smile. We also loved the signature cocktails and appreciated the friendly bar staff.

The walls are paper-thin, literally made of plywood, but we slept well despite the beds being a bit hard. Additionally, there was no bedside table, which was a bit annoying. The pool is lovely; however, the sunbeds are made of steel and lack cushions, which made them uncomfortable.

A relaxing stay at Escape Beach Resort - Wonderful Staff

The pool and the views of the sea. Breakfast had a good selection. Staff were wonderful and always helpful. Bungalows were lovely and modern, just a little bit on the small side. Lovely bathroom. Comfortable large bed.

There is not a beach at the resort to sunbathe at. When the tide is out at around 5.30-6.00pm there is only about 3 foot of beach and at all other times the sea was at the property boundary. There is a beach area accessed via the W hotel next door but I think this may have been a private beach. The bungalows do not have great sound proofing and we were woken several times by the neighbours music or TV. You have to have transport to visit any restaurants or areas outside of the resort. We spent £100 in taxis in 5 days.

No restaurant or bar, it was under construction so building noise all day, swimming was empty! Everyone as more concerned about the construction than the people staying there, no where to eat food except on your bed

Clean and comfy hotel but room for staff improvement.

The hotel has a fresh look with a white tone, giving it a clean and comfortable feel. The rooms don’t have much space and are quite tight, but it’s acceptable depending on personal preference. The pool is conveniently located near the beach—just one step away.

The hotel has too many rooms, making it feel crowded compared to the overall space available. However, I didn’t spend much time at the hotel since I was exploring the island, so it was fine. Regarding the staff, there’s room for improvement. Despite providing my car’s license plate number during check-in, they knocked on my room door at 6 a.m., asking me to move a car that wasn’t mine. Additionally, on the checkout day, there was a charge for breakfast that we didn’t have, which we refused to pay. Lastly, there was loud construction noise in the hotel on Saturday, but fortunately, it was the day I checked out.
